APPROPRIATING $1,320 FROM THE TEXAS STATE LIBRARY FOR THE
CONTINUED OPERATION OF THE INTERLIBRARY LOAN CENTER AT
CORPUS CHRISTI PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR STATE FY95-96; AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 022279 THAT ADOPTED THE FY95-96 BUDGET TO
INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS IN NO. 162 STATE AND FEDERAL
GRANTS FUND BY $1,320; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $1,320 is hereby appropriated from the Texas State Library for the
continued operation of the Interlibrary Loan Center at Corpus Christi Public Library for State FY95-
96.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022279 that adopted the FY95-96 Budget is hereby
amended to increase appropriations in No. 162 State and Federal Grants Fund by $1,320.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
two regular meetings so that this ordinance is assed and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the c-3 day of Q� % , 1996.

requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two

finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
