APPROPRIATING $26,100 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED FUND BALANCE OF
THE NO. 104 MARINA FUND; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022643, WHICH
ADOPTED THE FY 96-97 BUDGET BY ADDING $26,100 TO THE NO. 104
MARINA FUND; TRANSFERRING $26,100 TO AND APPROPRIATING $26,100 IN
THE NO. 291 PARKS CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR THE "M" PIER INTERIM
RESTORATION PROJECT; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022394 WHICH
ADOPTED THE FY 95-96 CIP BUDGET BY ADDING $26,100 TO THE FY 95-96
CIP BUDGET; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $26,100 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated fund balance of the
No. 104 Marina Fund.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022643, which adopted the FY 96-97 Budget is hereby amended
by adding $26,100 to the No. 104 Marina Fund.
SECTION 3. That $26,100 is hereby transferred to and appropriated in the No. 291 Parks Capital
Projects Fund for the "M" Pier Interim Restoration Project.
SECTION 4. That Ordinance No. 022394, which adopted the FY 95-96 CIP Budget is hereby
amended by adding $26,100 to the FY 95-96 CIP Budget.
SECTION 5. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached,
to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and
effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring
suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings�suo that
this/e-dinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the / ./ -1 day

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance an emergency exists
requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two
regular meetings: I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance
finally on the date it is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
