AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, SECTION 2-217,
MEMBERSHIP, BY CHANGING THE AGE LIMIT FROM EIGHTEEN (18)
TO TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS TO SIXTEEN (16) TO TWENTY-ONE (21)
YEARS AT TIME OF APPOINTMENT; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances, Section 2-217,
Membership, is hereby amended by changing the following section to:
Sec. 2-217. Membership.
One (1) member shall be a youth representative from sixteen (16) cightccn (18) to twenty-one
(21) years of age at time of appointment.
SECTION 2. Publication must be made one time in the official publication of the City of
Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
