AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 53 - TRAFFIC,
ARTICLE VIII - SCHEDULES, SECTION 53-254, SCHEDULE V -
INCREASE IN STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES ON
CIMMARON BOULEVARD; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION;
PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 53 - Traffic, Article VIII -
Schedules, Section 53-254, Schedule V, is hereby amended by:
Deleting the following section:
Cimmaron Drive:
From Wooldridge Road to a point 200 feet south of Brockhampton Drive --35 MPH --at all
times.
And in lieu thereof adding:
Cimmaron Boulevard:
From Wooldridge Road to Lipes Avenue --35 MPH --At all times
From Lipes Avenue to Yorktown Boulevard --45 MPH --At all times
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the City
of Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 3. A violation of these speed limits may result in a citation being issued and a
fine being assessed.
