JOSLIN TO HOUSTON NATURAL GAS CORPORATION AS SUCCESSORS IN INTEREST THERETO, WITHIN LOTS 2 & 3, BLOCK 1, BRIDGEPOINTE LANDING SUBDIVISION AND A PORTION OF LOT 12, SECTION 28, FLOUR BLUFF & ENCINAL FARM & GARDEN TRACTS, SUBJECT TO OWNER'S COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPECIFIED CONDITIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City, as successor in interest, relinquishes all easement rights granted to Houston Natural Gas Corporation, within Lots 2 & 3, Block 1, Bridgepointe Landing Subdivision and a portion of Lot 12, Section 28, Flour Bluff & Encinal Farm & Garden Tracts, pursuant to the instrument recorded at Volume 355, Page 306, Deeds Records, Nueces County, Texas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City, as successor in interest, relinquishes all easement rights granted to Houston Natural Gas Corporation, within Lots 2 & 3, Block 1, Bridgepointe Landing Subdivision and a portion of Lot 12, Section 28, Flour Bluff & Encinal Farm & Garden Tracts as shown by plat recorded in Volume 58, Page 1, of the Map Records of Nueces County, Texas, pursuant to the instrument recorded at Volume 355, Page 306, Deeds Records, Nueces County, Texas, subject to compliance with the specified conditions: 1) That the owners, The Joslin Partnership, Ltd., dedicate the specified utility easements to the City of Corpus Christi as shown on Exhibit #1 as consideration for closure of the blanket easement. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that th,i�pinance is pa sed sned� and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of / Y l! ih air) , 1997.
