HomeMy WebLinkAbout023188 ORD - 01/13/1998AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING S24,642 IN THE FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS FUND NO. 162, RECEIVED FROM THE COASTAL BEND COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS, AS A PASS-THROUGH GRANT FROM THE TEXAS NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION, TO HIRE AN ADDITIONAL CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER FOR SOLID WASTE SERVICES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $24,642 in the Federal/State Grants Fund No. 162, received from the Coastal Bend Council of Governments, as a pass-through grant from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, is appropriated to hire an additional Code Enforcement Officer for Solid Waste Services. SECTION 2.
