HomeMy WebLinkAbout023226 ORD - 02/24/1998ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM THE UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE IN THE NO. 133 MUNICIPAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS FUND; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022993 WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 97-98 BUDGET BY ADDING $10,000 TO THE NO. 133 MUNICIPAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS FUND FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $10,000 from the Unreserved Fund Balance in the No. 133 Municipal Information Systems Fund for professional services. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 022993 which adopted the FY 97-98 budget is hereby amended by adding $10,000 to the No. 133 Municipal Information Systems Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of city affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is assed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the o) f h day of bittkiTALL. 1998.
