AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE LEASE NO. DTFA07-98-L-01123 BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI AND THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA),
AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF PROPERTY AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FOR RUNWAY 31 MALSR, ILS
(LOCALIZER) AND VASI, RUNWAY 13 MALSR, ILS, (LOCALIZER, GS,
MM), VASI, RVR, TOGETHER WITH ASSOCIATED ACCESS ROADS AND
CABLE ROUTES IN CONSIDERATION OF FAA OPERATING AND
MAINTAINING THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER AT THE
AIRPORT; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute Lease No.
DTFA07-98-L-01123 between the City of Corpus Christi and the U.S. Department of
Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), authorizing the lease of property at the
Corpus Christi International Airport for Runway 31 MALSR, ILS (Localizer) and VASI, Runway
13 MALSR, ILS, (Localizer, GS, MM), VASI, RVR, together with associated access roads and cable
routes in consideration of FAA operating and maintaining the Air Traffic Control Tower at the
Airport. A copy of the lease is on file with the City Secretary.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
