AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO
EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH
NUECES COUNTY AND THE REGIONAL TRANSPORATION
AUTHORITY TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY AND DEVELOPMENT OF
A CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATION SYSTEM TO SERVE AS A
SINGLE PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT FOR THE AREAS
SERVED BY THE CITY AND COUNTY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute an interlocal cooperation
agreement with Nueces County and the Regional Transporation Authority to conduct a study of the
feasibility and development of a consolidated communication system to serve as a single public
safety answering point for the areas served by the city and county.
