SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
A. Mayor Pro Tem Mark Scott to call the meeting to order.
Mayor Pro Tem Scott called the meeting to order.
B. Assistant City Secretary Rebecca Huerta to call the roll of the required Charter
Officers.
City Secretary Rebecca Huerta called the roll and stated that a quorum of the
Council and required Charter Officers were present to conduct the meeting.
(Note:Council Member Allen arrived at 10:35 a.m.)
Charter Officers:
City Manager Ron Olson,Interim City Attorney Lisa Aguilar,and City Secretary
Rebecca Huerta.
Present: 6- Council Member Kelley Allen,Council Member Priscilla Leal,Council
Member Mark Scott,Council Member Colleen Mclntyre,Council Member
Lillian Riojas, and Council Member Rudy Garza
Absent: 3- Council Member David Loeb,Mayor Nelda Martinez,and Council Member
Chad Magill
C. SPECIAL CONSIDERATION ITEM:
Ordinance canvassing returns and declaring the results of the Special
Election held on November 5, 2013, in the City of Corpus Christi, on
the question of authorizing one or more series of bonds supported by
ad valorem taxes; and declaring an emergency.
Mayor Pro Tem Scott referred to Item 1.The council canvassed the results of
various precincts and declared the results official.There were no comments
from the Council or the public.This Ordinance was passed and approved on
emergency with the following vote:
Aye: 6- Council Member Allen, Council Member Leal, Council Member Scott,
Council Member McIntyre, Council Member Riojas and Council Member
Garza
Absent: 3- Council Member Loeb, Mayor Martinez and Council Member Magill
Abstained: 0
