AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 53 - TRAFFIC,
ARTICLE VIII - SCHEDULES, SECTION 53-254, SCHEDULE V,
INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES ON HOLLY
ROAD; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR
PENALTIES.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances, Chapter 53 - Traffic,
Article VIII - Schedules, Section 53-254, Schedule V, is hereby amended by:
Deleting the following section:
Holly Road:
From Rodd Field to a point 500 -feet west of Carroll Lane -- 35 MPH -- at all times.
And in lieu thereof, adding the following:
Holly Road
From Rodd Field Road to Everhart Road -- 35 MPH -- at all times.
From Everhart Road to a point 500 -feet west of Carroll Lane -- 40 MPH -- at all times.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the City of
Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 3. A violation of such speed limits may result in a citation being issued and a
fine being assessed.
