AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A
FIVE YEAR LEASE, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR FIVE
ADDITIONAL YEARS, WITH THE TEXAS NATURAL RESOURCE
CONSERVATION COMMISSION (TNRCC) FOR APPROXIMATELY 1600
SQUARE FEET AT WEST GUTH PARK TO OPERATE AN UNMANNED
AIR QUALITY MONITORING STATION IN CONSIDERATION OF TNRCC
PROVIDING THE AIR MONITORING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute a five-year lease,
with the option to renew for 5 additional years, with Texas Natural Resource Conservation
Commission (TNRCC)for approximately 1600 square feet at West Guth Park to operate an
unmanned air quality monitoring station in consideration of TNRCC providing the air monitoring
services. A copy of the lease is on file with the City Secretary.
SECTION 2. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus
Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
