AMENDING RESOLUTION 022429 WHICH AUTHORIZED A
PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT FOR TRINITY
TOWERS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP WHICH IS NOW TO BE
AMENDED TO INCREASE THE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD UNTIL
DECEMBER 1998
WHEREAS, on December 12, 1995, the City Council adopted Resolution 022429 which
authorized a Tax Abatement Agreement with Trinity Towers Limited Partnership, which agreement
provided for a two-year construction period; and
WHEREAS, the construction period has extended into the third year notwithstanding the
diligence of Trinity Towers Limited Partnership and the City Council finds that the construction
period should be extended by one year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the First Amendment To
Tax Abatement Agreement, a true copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, and
Resolution 022429 is amended accordingly.
