HomeMy WebLinkAbout023366 RES - 07/21/1998A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARKS, RECREATION, CULTURAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES RENTAL FEE AND RECREATIONAL FEE INCREASES AND ADDING NEW RENTAL FEES AND RECREATIONAL FEES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the limits for rental rate increases established in City Code sections 36-3 and 36-7, the parks and recreation director is authorized to increase certain fees as set forth below, with the rate increase limits in sections 36-3 and 36-7 thereafter applying to the fees authorized herein. FY97-98 FY98-99 Aquatic Fees City Swim Leagues TAAF State Swim Meet Entries (set by TAAF) $ 3 /event $ 5 /event Latchkey (End of School day - 6PM) School Year Monthly Fee for each additional child on scholarship $ 15 $ 20 Summer Latchkey Scholarship Fee per week -per 1st child $ 20 Weekly f.,e pet cach additional child o.. $ 15 $ 25 SECTION 2. That the following rental and recreation fees are hereby established: Golf E. Discount monthly coupons for Weekday Golf 12 rounds for cost of 10 rounds Green Fees for Corpus Christi residents only. F. Senior Annual Card - N/A $ 510 All day on Weekdays and Weekends after 12:30 p.m. Plus per use charge of $2.50 assessed for each round played. Items E. and F. only available to golfers living within Corpus Christi City limits with drivers license verification. Multicultural Center: • Non-refundable reservation deposit N/A $100 • Security N/A $ 10/hr. AG98\5000.514 ,�C SECTION 3. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi. SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, work, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, work, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of the City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, work, or provision hereof shall be given full force and effect for its purpose.
