REPEALING RESOLUTION 17743, CONCERNING
INCREASED HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX REVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 017743 on July 27, 1983, concerning
expenditure of the increased hotel occupancy tax revenue; and
WHEREAS, successive budgets have not followed that allocation; and
WHEREAS, in order to eliminate confusion and conflicts, Council has decided to repeal
Resolution No. 017743.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Corpus Christi repeals Resolution No. 017743, adopted on July
27, 1983, concerning expenditure of the increased hotel occupancy tax revenue.
