HomeMy WebLinkAbout023448 RES - 09/29/1998RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACCEPT A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $86,412 FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING OF A SAFE AND SOBER SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROJECT (STEP) WITHIN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to accept the grant application in the amount of $86,412 from the Texas Department of Transportation for funding of a Safe and Sober Selective Traffic Enforcement Project (STEP) within the Police Department and to execute all related documents.
