AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT THE
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT NUMBER 3-48-0051-26-
99 FOR AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: TAXIWAYS "A2" AND
"B3" IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $530,100, SUBJECT TO AN
FAA GRANT OFFER.
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration was only granted funding for six months
of the 1999 Federal Fiscal Year; and
WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi anticipates that it will receive grant funding for the
Taxiways "A2" and "B3" improvements, but must be ready to accept the grant prior to March 31,
1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or designee, is authorized to accept the Federal
Aviation Administration Grant Number 3-48-0051-26-99 for Airport Improvement Project:
Taxiways "A2" and "B3" Improvements in the amount of $530,100, subject to an FAA grant offer.
