HomeMy WebLinkAbout023618 ORD - 04/20/1999ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM THE BLANCHE MOORE FOUNDATION IN THE NO. 6010 TRUST FUND -YOUTH SPORTS FOR THE EXPENSES OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI MAGIC BLANCHE MOORE BASEBALL TEAM; AMENDING THE FY 98-99 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 023387, TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $10,000 IN THE NO. 6010 TRUST FUND -YOUTH SPORTS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $10,000 from the Blanche Moore Foundation is appropriated in the No. 6010 Trust Fund -Youth Sports for the Expenses of the Corpus Christi Magic Blanche Moore Baseball Team. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 023387, which adopted the FY 98-99 budget, is amended by adding $10,000 to the No. 6010 Trust Fund -Youth Sports. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this eidinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 14471 day of (1 {DAA Q - , 1999.
