HomeMy WebLinkAbout023669 RES - 06/08/1999RESOLUTION CONTINUING THE STORM WATER MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, the City Council established the Storm Water Advisory Committee on June 17, 1997, by Ordinance No. 22964; WHEREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance 22964 provided that the Storm Water Management Advisory Committee would be abolished on June 17, 1999, unless the City Council extended the committee by resolution; and WHEREAS, the Committee's advice is desired on issues relating to the application for a TPDES municipal storm water permit from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission and the establishment of a municipal drainage utility; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The Storm Water Advisory Committee, as described in Section 2-231 of the Code of' Ordinances, shall not be abolished on June 17, 1999, but shall continue in operation until abolished by a future City Council.
