APPROPRIATING $33,968 FROM THE UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE
DESIGNATED FOR THE MUNICIPAL COURT COMPUTER SYSTEM;
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 023387, WHICH ADOPTED THE FY 98-99
OPERATING BUDGET, BY ADDING $33,968 TO THE NO. 1020 GENERAL
FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF TECHNICAL SERVICES INCLUDING
COMPUTER PROGRAMMING TO ESTABLISH AN INTERFACE
BETWEEN THE POLICE RMS SYSTEM AND THE MUNICIPAL COURT
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $ 33,968 is appropriated from the unreserved fund balance designated
for the Municipal Court computer system.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 023387 which adopted the FY 98-99 Operating Budget,
is hereby amended by adding $33,968 to the No. 1020 General Fund for the purchase of technical
services including computer programming services to establish an interface between the police RMS
system and the Municipal Court Management System.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
two regular meetings so that this dinance is pass d and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the . 1 day of l _, 1999.
