AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE
AN INTERLOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS A&M
UNIVERSITY - CORPUS CHRISTI, ("TAMU-CC") FOR TAMU-CC TO
PROVIDE WORK TO AND PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR ELIGIBLE
STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE FEDERAL WORK-STUDY
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, a Texas home -rule municipal
corporation, ("City") pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 791 Government Code, V.T.C.A.,
as amended, desires to participate in an interlocal governmental agreement with Texas A&M
University - Corpus Christi, ("TAMU-CC") for TAMU-CC to provide work to and partial payment
for eligible students participating in the Federal Work -Study Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute an interlocal
agreement with Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, ("TAMU-CC") for TAMU-CC to provide
work to and partial payment for eligible students participating in the Federal Work -Study Program
as set out in the Agreement, a copy of which is on file with the City Secretary.
