APPROPRIATING $729,406 FROM INTEREST EARNINGS IN VARIOUS
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS, AS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED EXHIBIT A AND $374,609 FROM PAVING
ASSESSMENTS IN THE NO. 3530 STREET CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND;
TRANSFERRING $979,406 TO THE NO. 2010 GENERAL OBLIGATION
DEBT SERVICE FUND FOR THE ANNUAL DEBT SERVICE PAYMENT;
TRANSFERRING $124,609 TO THE NO. 1020 GENERAL FUND TO
REIMBURSE THE COLLECTIONS ACTIVITY; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That $729,406 is appropriated from interest earnings in various Capital
Projects Funds, as shown on the attached and incorporated Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. That$374,609 is appropriated from paving assessments in the No. 3530 Street
Capital Projects Fund.
SECTION 3. That $979,406 is transferred to the No. 2010 General Obligation Debt
Service Fund for the annual debt service payment.
SECTION 4. That $124,609 is transferred to the No. 1020 General Fund to reimburse the
Collections Activity.
SECTION 5. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy
attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at
two regular meetings so that s mance is p sse and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the day of , 1999.
