HomeMy WebLinkAbout023717 ORD - 07/27/1999AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A PERMIT TO BE ISSUED TO THEODORE DIMOUPOULOS TO OCCUPY 434 -SQUARE FEET OF THE EXISTING CHAPARRAL STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (ROW) WITH SUPPORTS FOR A BALCONY AND THE AIRSPACE FOR A BALCONY AT 315 CHAPARRAL STREET; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Authorizing a permit to be issued to Theodore Dimopoulos to occupy 434 - square feet of the existing Chaparral Street right-of-way (ROW) with a supports for a balcony and the airspace for a balcony at 315 Chaparral Street. A copy of the Lease Contract is on file with the City Secretary. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that ' o inance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the of _ . .. 1999.
