HomeMy WebLinkAbout023725 ORD - 08/24/1999ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $33,500 FROM A CONTRACT WITH THE GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION IN THE NO. 1050 FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS FUND FOR THE CLEAN CITIES ALTERNATIVE FUELS INITIATIVES PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $33,500 from a contract with the General Services Commission is appropriated in the No. 1050 Federal/State Grants Fund for the Clean Cities Alternative Fuels Initiatives Program. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and dec rrsd requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at regular meetings so that this ordnance is passed and shall take effect u on first reading as an emergency measure this the friday of etic3A-- , 19 1: .
