HomeMy WebLinkAbout023738 ORD - 08/24/1999AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 023702, WHICH ADOPTED THE FY99-00 BUDGET, BY ADDING $10,229 TO THE NO. 6010 TRUST FUND — VEHICLE REPLACEMENT TRUST FUND; APPROPRIATING $10,229 IN THE NO. 6010 TRUST FUND – VEHICLE REPLACEMENT TRUST FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF CONVEYOR BELTS FOR THE CITY'S COMPOSTING PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 023702, which adopted the FY99-00 budget, is amended by increasing the No. 6010 Trust Fund -- Vehicle Replacement Trust Fund appropriation by $10,229. SECTION 2. That $10,229 in the No. 6010 Trust Fund – Vehicle Replacement Trust Fund is appropriated for purchase of two conveyor belts for the City's composting program. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, in meeting Texas Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency Management reporting deadlines to secure grant funding, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is pas glpnd shall tal effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the Lnay of 1999.
