HomeMy WebLinkAbout023741 ORD - 08/24/1999AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A 59 -YEAR LEASE WITH THEODORE DIMOPOULOS TO OCCUPY 434 -SQUARE FEET OF THE EXISTING CHAPARRAL STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (ROW) WITH SUPPORTS FOR A BALCONY AND THE AIRSPACE FOR A BALCONY AT 315 CHAPARRAL STREET; ESTABLISHING A FEE OF $1732 AS PAYMENT FOR THE FIRST 4 -YEAR LEASE INCREMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute a 59 -year Lease with Theodore Dimopoulos to occupy 434 -square feet of the existing Chaparral Street right-of-way (ROW) with a supports for a balcony and the airspace for a balcony at 315 Chaparral Street. A copy of the Lease Contract is on file with the City Secretary. SECTION 2. That Theodore Dimopoulos pay consideration of $1732 for the first 4 -year lease increment, with additional 5 -year increments adjusted by the CPI, and comply with the terms and conditions of the Lease. SECTION 3. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
