ENDORSING TWO COASTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM GRANT
APPLICATIONS BY THE PADRE ISLES PROPERTY OWNERS
ASSOCIATION AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SEND
LETTERS IN SUPPORT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Corpus Christi endorses the two Coastal Management
Program grant applications, submitted to the Coastal Management Council by the Padre
Isles Property Owners Association on August 27, 1999, for (1) the design of a beach
bike and hike trail from the beach recreation area on the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf
Intracoastal Waterway and (2) for the design of a Laguna Madre water improvement
method.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to send letters to the Coastal Coordination
Council supporting the applications.
