HomeMy WebLinkAbout023777 ORD - 09/28/1999AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A USE PRIVILEGE AGREEMENT WITH CORPUS CHRISTI METRO MINISTRIES, INC., TO INSTALL, OPERATE, MAINTAIN, AND REMOVE TWO AERIAL FIBER OPTIC COMMUNICATIONS CABLES ACROSS THE LEOPARD STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, ESTABLISHING A FEE OF $450.00, AND OTHER SPECIFIED CONDITIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a Use Privilege Agreement with Corpus Christi Metro Ministries, Inc., to install, operate, maintain, and remove two aerial fiber optic communications cables across the Leopard Street right-of-way from 1919 Leopard Street to 1906 Leopard Street, and subject to the following specified conditions: 1. That Corpus Christi Metro Ministries, Inc. pay a Use Privilege Agreement one-time fee of $450.00 for the right to install, operate, maintain, and remove two aerial fiber optic cables approximately 100 linear feet across the Leopard Street right-of-way. 2. Corpus Christi Metro Ministries, Inc. is required to obtain a Pole Attachment Agreement from Central Power & Light for use of the existing power poles. SECTION 2.
