AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 53 - TRAFFIC,
ARTICLE VIII - SCHEDULES, SECTION 53-255, SCHEDULE VI,
AMENDING THE TIMES FOR THE ALAMEDA STREET HOSPITAL
ZONE SPEED LIMIT; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND
PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances, Chapter 53 - Traffic,
Article VIII - Schedules, Section 53-255, Schedule VI, is hereby amended by:
Deleting the following section:
Alameda Street:
From Texan Trail to Ropes Drive -- 20 mph -- between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.,
when flashers are operating designating such speed.
And in lieu thereof, adding the following:
Alameda Street:
From a point 100 -feet south of Texan Trail to a point approximately 625 -feet north of Ropes
Drive -- 20 mph -- between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., when flashers are operating
designating such speed.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the City of
Corpus Christi as required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 3. A violation of such speed limits may result in a citation being issued and a
fine being assessed.
