HomeMy WebLinkAbout023801 ORD - 10/19/1999AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $364,488 FROM THE UNRESERVED FUND BALANCE IN THE NO. 4700 MARINA FUND TO CONSTRUCT THE COOPER'S ALLEY L -HEAD BAIT STAND, BOATERS' FACILITY, AND PUBLIC RESTROOMS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 023702, WHICH ADOPTED THE FY99-00 BUDGET, BY ADDING $364,488 TO THE NO. 4700 MARINA FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That $364,488 is appropriated in the No. 4700 Marina Fund from the unreserved fund balance to construct the Cooper's Alley L -Head Bait Stand, Boaters' Facility, and Public Restrooms. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 023702, which adopted the FY 99-00 budget, is amended by adding $364,488 to the No. 4700 Marina Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this 9.011ance is passed and shall take effect} n first reading as an emergency measure this the ` 1 Vat of ( 'p,�r , 19 vl� ATTEST: Armando Chapa, City ecretary Legal form approved 15 OC ( , 1999 James R.
