Home My WebLink About023810 ORD - 10/26/1999ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $127,314 IN THE NO. 3020 AIRPORT CIP FUND FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT NUMBER 3-48- 0051-27-99 AND TRANSFERRING $14,146 FROM THE NO. 4610 OPERATING FUND TO AND APPROPRIATING IT IN THE NO. 3020 CIP FUND TO PURCHASE AND INSTALL A HIGH REACH EXTENDABLE TURRET SYSTEM ON AN EXISTING AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIRE TRUCK; AMENDING THE FY 99/00 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 023703, BY ADDING$141,460 to the CIP BUDGET; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $127,314 is appropriated in the No. 3020 Airport CIP Fund from the Federal Aviation Administration Grant Number 3-48-0051-27-99. SECTION 2. That $14,146 is transferred from the No. 4610 Airport Operating Fund to and appropriated in the No. 3020 Airport CIP Fund. SECTION 3. That the FY 99/00 CIP Budget, adopted by Ordinance No. 023703, is amended by adding $141,460 to the CIP Budget to purchase and install a high reach extendable turret system on an existing Aircraft Rescue Fire Truck. SECTION 4. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this gr,�d,inance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the (9l0 "day of D,% L. , 1999.
