HomeMy WebLinkAbout023813 ORD - 10/26/1999ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $3,877 FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE MUSUEM TO THE NO. 3260 MUSEUM EXPANSION/ BAYFRONT ARTS & SCIENCES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO PARTIALLY FUND CONSTRUCTION OF A BUS TURNAROUND FACILITY AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS CITY COUNCIL: SECTION 1. That $3,877 from the Friends of the Museum is appropriated in the No. 3260 Museum Expansion/Bayfront Arts & Sciences Capital Improvement Fund to partially fund construction of a bus turnaround facility at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the a�'. orvay of OCJdak- , 1999.
