HomeMy WebLinkAbout023825 ORD - 11/09/1999AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $82,800 FROM THE RESERVE FOR CAPITAL OUTLAY IN THE NO. 5110 MAINTENANCE SERVICE FUND TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT; AMENDING THE FY 99-00 BUDGET, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 023702, TO INCREASE APPROPRIATIONS BY $82,800 IN THE NO. 5110 MAINTENANCE SERVICE FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That $82,800 is appropriated from the Reserve for Capital Outlay in the No. 5110 Maintenance Services Fund to purchase equipment. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 023702, which adopted the FY 99-00 budget, is amended by adding $82,800 to the No. 5110 Maintenance Services Fund. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that ticjdinance is passpd and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the "� l Y tday of OV'C4' ucky-, 1999.
