GIFT AGREEMENT IN THE NO. 3210 LIBRARY CIP FUND FOR FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE JANET F. HARTE PUBLIC LIBRARY; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 023703, WHICH APPROVED THE FY 99-00 CAPITAL BUDGET, TO ADD $25,000 TO THE LIBRARY PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That $25,000 from a Corpus Christi Public Library Foundation, Inc. Gift Agreement is appropriated in the No. 3210 Library CIP Fund for furnishings and equipment for the Janet F. Harte Public Library. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 023703, which approved the FY 99-00 Capital Budget, is amended to add $25,000 to the Library Program. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that t s. ordinance ' passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the rday of �(_C L f k_elai f 1999.
