HomeMy WebLinkAbout023925 ORD - 01/25/2000ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A GRANT FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN THE AMOUNT OF $82,840 IN THE NO. 1050 FEDERAL/STATE GRANT FUND TO FUND IMMUNIZATION SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That a grant from the Texas Department of Health in the amount of $82,840 to fund immunization services is appropriated in the No. 1050 Federal/State Grants Fund. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for immediate action necessary for the efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter role as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at two regular meetings so that ~k~ ~ay of~~5~_, 2000. upon first reading as an t~s~ogdinance is passed and shall take effect emergency measure this the ATTEST: THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI Ar~n~etary Legal form approved %-amuel L.
