AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
AMENDMENT NO. I TO THE ADVANCED FUNDING AGREEMENT
WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (TXDOT) IN
THE AMOUNT OF $6,039,661.98 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE SPUR 3,
PHASE 2 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT: ENNIS JOSLIN ROAD FROM
OCEAN DRIVE TO SOUTH PADRE ISLAND DRIVE AND NILE DRIVE
FROM PHARAOH DRIVE TO ENNIS JOSLIN ROAD; AND ASSOCIATED
UTILITY WORK
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute Amendment
No. 1 to the Advanced Funding Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)
in the amount of $6,039,661.98 for construction of the Spur 3, Phase 2 Improvements Project: Ennis
Joslin Road from Ocean Drive to South Padre island Drive and Nile Drive from Pharaoh Drive to
Ennis Joslin Road; and associated utility work. A copy of the amendment is on filed in the office
of the City Secretary.

appropriated for any other purpose:
