AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRIST1 (AUTHORITY) FOR THE CORPUS
CHRISTI POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL
POLICE SERVICES TO THE AUTHORITY ON A VOLUNTARY
OVERTIME BASIS, FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE MONTHS AND NOT TO
EXCEED $125,176, TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND
PRODUCTIVITY OF GOVERNMENTAL RESOURCES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute an interlocal
agreement with the Housing Authority of the City of Corpus Christi (Authority) for the Corpus
Christi Police Department to provide supplemental police services to the Authority on a voluntary
overtime basis, for a period of twelve months and not to exceed $125,176, to improve the efficiency
and productivity of governmental resources.
