AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO SUBMIT
A GRANT APPLICATION T~) THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND BOARD UP TO $180,000 FOR
TELECOMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS AT
THE CORPUS CHRISTI PUBLIC LIBRARIES
WHEREAS, the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board provides grant funds to
develop the telecommunications infrastructure that connects public entities such as public libraries
to Texas' emerging statewide telecommunications network;
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to submit a grant
application to the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board up to $180,000 for
telecommunications infrastructure improvements at the Corpus Christi Public Libraries.
