AUTHORIZING ADOPTION OF THE TAX DEFERRED 457 PLAN
WITH AMERICAN GENERAL FINANCIAL GROUP FOR SWORN
OFFICERS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Corpus Christi hereby establishes a deferrred compensation plan
with American General Financial Group for the tax deferred 457 plan for the benefit of the sworn
officers of the Police Department.
SECTION 2. The City of Corpus Christi hereby adopts said deferred compensation plan, the
provisions of which are set out in a plan document.
SECTION 3. The City of Corpus Christi retains the right to amend, modify or discontinue all or
any portion of said plan without the consent of the employees participating in said plan, or the
beneficiaries of any employees participating in said plan.
