AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL SERVICES TO ACT ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY WITH AMERICAN GENERAL FINANCIAL GROUP FOR THE TAX
DEFERRED 457 PLAN FOR SWORN OFFICERS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, City of Corpus Christi (hereinafter, "the Employer"), established the City of Corpus
Christi Deferred Compensation Plan with American General Financial Group for the tax deferred
457 plan for the benefit of its sworn police officers; and
WHEREAS, the Employer desires to authorize the Director of Financial Services to act on behalf
of said plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1, That the Director of Financial Services is authorized to act on behalf of the City of
Corpus Christi with American General Financial Group fbr the tax deferred 457 plan for sworn
officers of the Corpus Christi Police Department. The Director of Financial Services is authorized
to execute any documents that American General Financial Group requires relevant to the opening
or maintaining of an account for the plan and to take any and all action deemed by any of them to
be proper in connection with said account, including but not limited to, authority to give written or
oral instructions to American General Financial Group with respect to account transactions.
