AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS
STATE ENERGY CONSERVATION OFFICE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$200,000 FOR CONVERSION OF 12 SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
VEHICLES TO LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS FUEL
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to submit
a grant application to the Texas State Energy Conservation Office in the amount of
$200,000 for conversion of 12 Solid Waste collection vehicles to liquefied natural gas
fuel.
