AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO APPLY TO THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES FOR
THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUNICIPAL
LEADERS, A PROGRAM THAT SEEKS TO EXPAND THE AVAILABILITY
AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN
LOCAL COMMUNITIES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to to
apply to the National League of Cities for the Technical Assistance Opportunities for
Municipal Leaders, a program that seeks to expand the availability and improve the
quality of after-school programs in local communities.
