AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION IN PARTNERSHIP
WITH BEAUTIFY CORPUS CHRISTI ASSOCIATION TO KEEP TEXAS
BEAUTIFUL FOR A GOVERNOR'S COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT
AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $265,000 FOR LANDSCAPING ALONG
STATE-MAINTAINED HIGHWAYS IN THE CORPUS CHRISTI AREA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to submit
a grant application in partnership with Beautify Corpus Christi Association to Keep
Texas Beautiful for a Governor's Community Achievement Award in the amount of
$265,000 for landscaping along state*maintained highways in the Corpus Christi area.
