AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE A FIVE YEAR NATURAL GAS SUPPLY,
TRANSPORTATION, AND FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
WITH NATIONAL ENERGY & TRADE, L.L.C., FOR THE PURCHASE OF
100% OF THE CITY'S NATURAL GAS REQUIREMENTS TO BEGIN ON
JULY 1, 2001 AND EXPIRE ON JULY '1, 2006
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee is authorized to
execute a five year Natural Gas Supply, Transportation, and Facilities Construction
Contract with National Energy & Trade, EL.C, for the purchase of 100% of the City's
natural gas requirements to begin on July 1,2001 and expire on July 1, 2006.
