AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR THE CITY MANAGER'S
DESIGNEE, TO SUBMIT A COASTAL IMPACT ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS GENERAL LAND
OFFICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000,000 FOR DREDGING SHOALED
AREAS WITHIN THE MARINA
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, is authorized to submit
a Coastal Impact Assistance Program Grant application to the Texas General Land
Office in the amount of $2,000,000 for dredging areas within the Marina that have
shoaled due to vessel traffic, tides and currents, and debris from storm water outfalls.
