AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR CONTINUED FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE TEXAS GENERAL LAND OFFICE FOR
BEACH CLEANING AND LIFE GUARDING ON PADRE ISLAND DURING
FY 2001-2002.
WHEREAS, the Texas General Land Office requires the annual submission of an application for
financial assistance by local governments for beach maintenance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute all necessary
documents for continued financial assistance through the Texas General Land Office for beach
cleaning and life guarding on Padre Island during FY 2001-2002.
