AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE
A ONE-YEAR INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH CALALLEN
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT TO INSTALL AND SHARE FIBER
OPTIC CABLE FROM E. RIVER VIEW DR. AND NORTHWEST BLVD. TO
WILDCAT DR. AND NORTHWEST BLVD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute a one-year
Interlocal Agreement with Calallen Independent School District (CISD) to install and share fiber
optic cable from E. River View Dr. and Northwest Blvd. to Wildcat Dr. and Northwest Blvd. The
agreement automatically renews for four succeeding one-year terms. This fiber will serve the CISD
to connect their schools and serve the City in providing connection for traffic signals along the
Northwest Boulevard corridor. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Secretary.
