HomeMy WebLinkAbout024541 ORD - 08/21/2001AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $54,781 FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS, CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVIS1ON 1N THE NO. 1050 FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS FUND FOR FUNDING AVAILABLE UNDER THE VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT FUND; TRANSFERRING $7,695 FROM THE NO. 6010 LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND AND APPROPRIATING IT IN THE NO. 1050 FEDERAL/STATE GRANTS FUND AS GRANT MATCHING FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI: SECTION 1. That $54,781 is appropriated from the State of Texas, Criminal Justice Division in the No. 1050 Federal/State Grants Fund for funding available under the Victims of Crime Act Fund; transferring $7,695 from the No. 6010 Law Enforcement Trust Fund and appropriating it in the No. 1050 Federal/State grants fund as grant matching funds. SECTION 2.
