SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Public Notice--THE USE OF CELLULAR PHONES AND SOUND ACTIVATED
PAGERS ARE PROHIBITED IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS DURING
MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
A. City Secretary Rebecca Huerta to call the meeting to order.
City Secretary Rebecca Huerta called the meeting to order at 10:07 a.m.
B. Invocation to be given by The Most Reverend William Michael Mulvey, STL, DD,
Bishop of Corpus Christi.
The Most Reverend William Michael Mulvey,STL,DD,Bishop of Corpus Christi
gave the invocation.
C. Swearing-in Ceremony for New Mayor and City Council Members,to be
conducted by The Honorable Janis Graham Jack, Senior U.S. District Judge for
the Southern District of Texas.
City Secretary Huerta referred to Item C,Swearing-in Ceremony for New Mayor
and City Council Members.The Honorable Janis Graham Jack,Senior U.S.
District Judge for the Southern District of Texas,conducted the swearing-in
ceremony of the Mayor and Council Members.
D. Incoming Mayor and Council Member Speeches
The Mayor and each Council Member thanked their family,friends,and
supporters for their assistance and support during the election process.
E. Adjournment
Mayor Dan McQueen invited the public to a reception in the City Council Foyer
area outside City Council Chambers before the new City Council began their
first regular meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:42 a.m.
