AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE
LEASE NO. DTFA07-02-L-0080S, ON LAND AT CORPUS CHRISTI
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TERMINATING SEPTEMBER 30, 2002,
WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW ANNUALLY THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30,
2011, WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ("FAA") FOR THE OPERATION OF AN
ENGINE GENERATOR AND UNDERGROUND FUEL TANK IN
CONSIDERATION OF THE OBLIGATIONS ASSUMED BY THE FAA IN
ITS ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE
FACILITIES UPON THE LEASED PREMISES; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION I. Authorizing the City Manager, or Designee, to execute lease No. DTF A07-02-L-
00805, on land at Corpus Christi International Airport, terminating September 30, 2002, with an
option to renew annually through September 30, 2011, with the U.S. Department of Transportation,
Federal Aviation Administration ("FAA") for the operation of an engine generator and underground
fuel tank in consideration of the obligations assumed by the FAA in its establishment, operation and
maintenance ofthe facilities upon the leased premises. A copy of the lease is on file with the City
Secretary .
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi as
required by the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
